The K&N 69-2027TS Typhoon air intake system is a high-performance, mandrel-bent aluminum tube air induction system designed to fit specific BMW 335i and 335i Coupe models.

The restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing are replaced by the K&N Typhoon air intake, which is engineered to significantly reduce airflow restriction while smoothing and straightening air flow. This enables your engine to intake a larger volume of air compared to the factory air intake. More air translates to increased usable power and acceleration throughout the engine’s RPM range. Furthermore, this air intake system enhances the engine sound with more aggressive and deeper acoustics during acceleration. The package includes a chrome-topped K&N high-flow air filter and a heat shield that fits into the original airbox space. The intake tube directs air through the engine’s throttle body, guaranteeing a power gain. The intake tube features an attractive silver powder-coated finish that is durable and accommodates the factory mass air sensor and crankcase vent hose.

The oversized cone-shaped air filter can be used for up to 100,000 kilometers before servicing is required, depending on driving conditions. Installing this air intake is relatively straightforward, usually taking 90 minutes or less, using existing factory mounting points. The required tools include a screwdriver, pliers, ratchet set, and several wrenches.
